are you by chance using NTSC version in PAL mode (or PAL version in NTSC mode) ? that would explain a lot |

first check that the whdload icon has (or not) the NTSC tooltype (or PAL) and tell me if your amiga is PAL or NTSC finally share your version so I can check which one it is. |

Ok, here goes: My machine is PAL The icon has neither PAL nor NTSC tooltype The slave is V1.7(August 2017) Whdload version is 18.6.6128 |

I'm 100% sure you are trying to run a NTSC version on a PAL machine. From my notes for 1.5: Notes for 1.5 (StingRay): I had a look at the Beast 3 patch because of a report that the music runs too slow, this was not a problem with the patch but just running the NTSC version of the game on a PAL machine. You need to use WHDLoad's "NTSC" option to make the music play at proper speed in that case. |
